Unicorn Silhouette

Are you looking for the perfect piece of art to decorate your room or perhaps even give as a gift?

If so, then look no further than this beautiful water colour silhouette. Now, I have chosen a unicorn as my subject matter, but you could just as easily choose your favourite animal – a dinosaur, a shark or even a spider! I have attached some silhouettes of different animals in a link below.

I absolutely love water colour paint and in this activity, you will use 3 different techniques – Wet on wet, splattering and masking.

The best part of this project is watching your water colour paints blend gently together but don’t forget to choose 3 ANALOGOUS colours for your colour scheme as these will work best together. ANALOGOUS what the heck does that mean?! It means that these colours work in harmony when placed next to one another and usually blend together beautifully. Think blues, greens and purples or reds, oranges and yellows. Analogous colours are colours NEXT TO each other on the colour wheel. Take a look
